hi i would like a log in but I would also like to know how to participate in more of the swap bot 100's, or the other 100 lists..I saw a places one on swap bot.

One thing about being green, a lot of these things my grandma (and others who grew up in the depression) always did and I sort of copied. I even had a friend make fun of me because I used newspaper with vinegar to clean windows!

I like your idea about planting native plants in garden, we do ours that way and it looks cooler too.

thanks!

Agreed. As Shakti Gawain wrote in her ground-breaking book, "Creative Visualization," an affirmation is a strong, positive statement that something is already so. The key word here is “positive.” It’s important to affirm what you do want, not what you don’t want.

For example, an ineffective affirmation would be, “I no longer spend my money foolishly.” That’s a constant, negative reminder that you used to waste your money. A successful affirmation does not recall past troubles. It’s a positive statement phrased in the present tense that strongly implies that, from this moment forward, you will be choosing a better way. A more effective affirmation would be, “I spend my money wisely.”

Two more reasons to stay positive: the mind thinks in pictures, and whatever you focus on grows stronger. How does that work? If you’re focused on “not being broke,” the word “not” is cast aside and your mind’s eye visualizes you being broke. And since that’s what your mind is focused on, that’s what will be brought into your life. So visualize yourself in the circumstances you desire, not those you’re trying to avoid.
